I would like to be less conflicted.    I am a lover, a former soldier who knows the value of peace.  A conditional pacifist.  The difference between life and death is the ability to experience, and so I pledge myself to doing something new every day and never saying no to a novel opportunity.  This has gotten me my share of scars and pain, as well as smile lines and pleasure.

I am a writer and would do almost anything to do that solely for the rest of my life so long as I can do it positively and in that way influence the world and be a benevolent architect of society.

I epitomize the gemini: I seek pleasure / avoid pain and have four nice sized tattoos.  I was a womanizer, and now am dedicated to a woman I can not have.  I am an ascetic hedonist.

My heroes had very little - gandhi, erich fromm - but I have the american virus of desire for a nice house and to see my wife in silk sheets.  Shame on me.

I write poetry for myself, fiction and non fiction for eventual publication and journalistic articles for several magazines and newspapers.
