Take a few paragraphs to describe a perfect world.

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 25, 2007:

namaste,

in a perfect world countries would be organized by ideals, not geography - much like the internet.

Money would not be needed because everyone would have whatever they created, and what was excess would be traded for what was wanted.

people would be seen first for their mind and soul and then for their body.

there would be areas in every town set aside for speaking the truth, no matter what it was, and when speaking within those spaces a lie would set off an alarm and no retribution could be taken against those who spoke.

women could only become pregnant voluntarilly.

there would be no laws concerning matters of opinion and no state would have the right to take life, to take the liberity of it's citizens or to allow violence.

but violence would not be an issue, because everyone would be empathic and to hurt another would be to hurt one's self.

mind altering substances would have no unwanted effects and would only work on a limited basis so addiction would be impossible.

the living could speak to the dead, and the dead would be able to reply.  but only if the living wanted - haunting's way creepy, mmkay?

in a perfect world my love would know i really do, and did love her.  she would never have been given reason to allow herself to be hurt.

Where did your name come from?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for May 21, 2007:

My name was Elias Lilien.  Lilien is an update of "Field of lillies," and so I believe my family at one point were gardeners or at least lived where lillie once grew.  It resonates with me because I never knew my father and so all I know about him comes from me, and I love to make things grow.  It is my nature to mend, to nurture and to water the garden - so to speak.

But Lilien is no longer my name.  I changed it when my stepfather married my mother.  My name now means Two Mountains.  My first name is the English / Greek version of "God is one," which translates as the same thing in every non asian language I've looked up.

It can be
Helios
Elijah
Eliezer
Eliahu and more.
