Where did your name come from?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for May 21, 2007:
My name was Elias Lilien. Lilien is an update of "Field of lillies," and so I believe my family at one point were gardeners or at least lived where lillie once grew. It resonates with me because I never knew my father and so all I know about him comes from me, and I love to make things grow. It is my nature to mend, to nurture and to water the garden - so to speak.
But Lilien is no longer my name. I changed it when my stepfather married my mother. My name now means Two Mountains. My first name is the English / Greek version of "God is one," which translates as the same thing in every non asian language I've looked up.
It can be
Helios
Elijah
Eliezer
Eliahu and more.
